Open your closet, stretch your arm right out to the back and pull them out – all the denim, of course! We are in the thick of spring, and denim’s making all the noise. So, say hello to that pair of flared jeans, the acid washed shorts and even that patchwork denim jacket that made you the butt of jokes. No, seriously.
Here’s how to do denim this season.

That 70s Flare. Move over skinnies! This season is all about the wide legs.
Style Tip: Pair your bootlegged jeans with a tank/tee for a casual look, or with a tucked in blouse for a dressier one. If you are the dare devil, go wider, and don’t forget to throw on wedges or pointy pumps, they’ll make your pins look miles long.

The Dungaree Resurrection. The dungarees (Overalls, if you’d prefer a more polished ring) are making a splash, with some serious 2015 cool, of course.
Style Tip: Keep it casual by rolling up the legs and teaming them with sneakers or go chic by pairing it with a button down blouse, super girly heels and bag and some accessories.

Hello High. It’s the season for high waist denim. From wide leg jeans to shorts to skirts, the high waist is everywhere and, boy, is it making a statement!
Style Tip: There’s only one golden rule: Tucked-in tops.
Not Just Pants. Denim dress, long/short skirt, shirt, mini jacket, bomber, blazer and even boots. We weren’t joking when we said that everything denim under the sun was in.
Style Tip: Remember to keep the silhouettes clean and balanced and you should be good, oh!, and keep it short of OTT.

A Lot of Denim. We saved the best for the last. It’s denim on denim, and, this time, it’s chicer.
Style Tip: Wear your denim shirt (tucked in) with your high-waist flared jeans, pair with high wedges, heeled booties or cool sneakers, and you will be rocking the season’s hottest trend to the T.
All that hoarding finally paid off, huh? Who’s laughing now?
